Objectives

  • To reduce the blindness through identification and treatment of blind at primary, secondary and tertiary levels based on assessment of the overall burden of visual impairment in the country.
  • To Strengthening the existing and developing additional human resources and infrastructure facilities for providing high quality comprehensive Eye Care in all Districts of the country.
  • To enhance community awareness on eye care and secure participation of Voluntary Organizations/Private Practitioners in eye Care.

Learning Output

  • To assist Optometrist during eye examinations, diagnostics and corrective procedures.
  • To help and prepare patients for the vision test, preparing examination rooms and cleaning and arranging of equipment.
  • To maintaining records of patients, scheduling appointments and taking care of data.

Objectives

Animal firm &fisheries playing a vital role in the field of livelihood development. In this context those products demand are on the rise and for the need of first life. The growing demand of prepared & first foods are increasing with the quality. But such trained personnel more or less nil in the market. On the other hand Animal lab technician is very rear in our country, only a few Govt technician are there. But now those personnel are very essential for farm & pet animal and disease diagnosis.
  • DAFTM help the society for production of quality and safe food which is very essential in the new era. Side by side they will help the farmers to enhance good quality animal & fish farming.
  • DAFTM technologist will help animal farmers to produce safe milk, meat fish, egg and products also. Preference will be given to the weaker section in purview to women empowerment in the society. As because women can do this job very easily.

As a student in the DAFTM you’ll learn how to:
